This weekend was RC Pro Series Rd.1 at Indy RC World in Garland, TX.
I couldn’t get off work so I missed all day Friday and Saturday. When I showed up Saturday night I had no practice on a new layout but put on the old trusty M3 Hole Shots and went out and qualified 2nd in 1:8 Buggy while figuring out the new layout.
For the 45-minute Main, I ran X2 BIG BLOX because Indy’s surface is very abrasive and is known to eat up tires really quick. Other guys miss-judged it and ran M3 Blockades.
I passed fellow team driver Hunter La Flower on the first lap and went tone to tone for the win by 3+ laps.
After the main, my Pro-Line Tires didn’t look worn at all. I couldn’t believe it…
Thankfully I had a good pit guy this weekend and had no flame out issues haha.
