First round of the LRH Winter Series Race.
I had a blast! It was a lot of fun. I had some pretty consistent runs. Both of my cars where dialed. My Team Xray XB9e has done me proud. I used my new Pro-Line ION’s too and made a brave choice to run some of my almost bald ION tires in the A-Main.
I’m glad I did make the right tire choice. I had a lot of traction!
MY LRP set-up was on point. I did something that was a little scary and a last minute change. I hooked my ESC to my laptop the night before and wow I’m glad I did. I was amazed how smooth everything ran during my qualifying heats and the Main.
Now my 4WD Buggy had me shaking. During practice a 1:8 Buggy hit me and I drove off hearing noise. My pinion ate up my spear gear and this happen right before my race which was the first race of the day. I got it fixed just in time. But I hate rushing before a race.
Once I got myself in order I got third. After that I was focused on my car. If you seen that movie “Biker Boyz” I was Lawrence Fishburn, I had that Tunnel Vision going on. I was focused and I didn’t hear anyone speaking, nothing. It was just me and my XB4 4WD buggy. I had a blast and hope to give you more race reports of different events.
BIG SHOUT OUT TO! RCAMERICA, TEAM XRAY, HUDY, PRO-LINE RACING, LRP, VENOM, UPGRADE, PAINTMONSTER, PACIFIC COAST HOBBIES AND POWER HD SERVOS.
THANKS,
Sean Miles
