Brady Cox raced at Rocky Mountain Meltdown Sept. 19 to 21 2014
Thank You to Joe Macasero from Hot Bodies for sending us the Ty Tessmann edition D8T so fast!!! We received it on Wednesday. So after spending a lot of time putting it together Brady only ran a couple tanks of fuel thru it before traveling to Calgary for this race.
We got to the Track at about noon on Friday (Sept 19, 2014) to start testing and we found it to be a very tight track well suited for the Ty Tessmann Edition D8T. This Truggy seems to have way more steering than the previous D8T and we managed to get figured out rather quickly.
Qualifying started at about 9:00 AM Saturday and Brady had a good run in Truggy with a 1st place on Pro-Line Hole Shots.
4WD Short Course and Buggy didn’t go so well. We ran Hole Shots in 4WD SC, and Blockades in Buggy.
After Saturday was done Brady sat 2nd in Truggy, 5th in 4WD Short Course, and 4th in 1:8 Nitro Buggy.
The Mains started Sunday morning and 1:8 Nitro Truggy was up first. Brady ran M3 Blockades in the Main. After a close race he finished in first. Good start for the new Ty Tessmann Edition D8T!
In 1:8 Nitro Buggy Brady ran X3 Blockades. On about lap 5 in 2nd place, he hit a weeping tile with the steering cranked and broke the servo finishing 10th.
In the SC Mains Brady ran M3 Hole Shots in 4WD SC finishing 6th.
All in all it was a really good weekend for Pro-Line Tires, Wheels, and Bodies.
Thanks,
Brady Cox
