This past weekend was the 2nd Annual Pro-Line Indoor Champs held at Warehouse 3 Raceway in Phoenix, Az.
I competed in 3 classes which included Modified 2WD Short Course, 2wd 17.5 Buggy, and 2WD Modified Buggy.
In Modified 2WD Short Course I would take the overall TQ after taking rounds 2 and 3 of qualifying.
Starting from the number 1 spot on the grid I would lead wire to wire in the 10-minute main to take the TQ and win for the 2nd year in a row.
I ran M4 Suburbs Front and M4 IONs Rear.
In 2WD Modified buggy I struggled with set up most of the weekend and ended up 10th after qualifying which meant I would have to battle for a bump spot from the B-Main. I was able to achieve this!
I would start 10th on the grid for the 10 minute A-Main event. After getting up as high as 4th and then falling back to 6th. Unfortunately my battery dumped with 2-minutes to go and I would end up 10th.
I ran M4 VTR Transistor Fronts and M4 VTR Suburb Rears.
In 17.5 2WD Buggy which was the biggest and most competitive class of the event I would qualify in the 5th position for the 10-minute main.
At the start I stayed patient and managed to move up to 3rd after a few mistakes from other drivers and would then move up to 2nd, the layout was very one-line and tough to pass on so patience was need and by the time I moved into 2nd, the leader had a large lead so I would settle for 2nd overall.
I ran M4 VTR Transistor Fronts and M4 VTR Electron Rears
Thanks for all the help and support,
