The first round of the Maximus Tripple Crown race was held this weekend at Maximus RC in York Maine. This facility is top notch and it was too much fun racing at this track.
Several buddies from The Barn in Canaan, NH joined me for a day/night of racing. Everyone did great. It was my first visit to Maximus and I was glad to make the A-Main and finish 7th in 2wd SC Open.
My first qualifier was my smoothest run of the day. It was my first time running the -8mm chassis. I have to say it is a huge improvement for tight tracks. I was able to get in and out of corners much faster. In the air I was able to flick the car more which gave me more options on this tight layout.
Suburb tires M4 compound hooked up perfectly.
