The 16th edition of the Kyosho Masters took place last weekend at the track of Sucy en Brie. Run in 4 classes of GP Buggy Elite, Expert and Ligue as well as an E-Buggy class, the race attracted some of the fastest drivers in Europe. In the premier class of Elite Buggy Jerome Aigoin took the TQ from Elliott Boots and Linus Thern. In the 45-minute finale Elliott was able to fight back and to take the win some 11-seconds from Jerome. 3 laps down Mikael Palsson completed the podium in 3rd position.
In the E-Buggy class, Elliott again took the TQ for the finals, Stephane Deroch and Linus Thern sat in 2nd and 3rd place respectively.
Elliott then also made a clean sweep in the finals leaving Linus Thern and Mikael Palsson in 2nd and 3rd place.
“Elliott’s tyre choice all weekend was Diamond Back X2 which were working unbelievably well. As you probably saw, almost everyone was running AKA but the Pro-Line‘s were lapping about a second a lap quicker.” – Chris Boots
The track was very high grip and was a great test for the Worlds in September as we think the grip will be similar.
