This past weekend I attended the 3rd annual Multiple Sclerosis Benefit Race held at Delaware Ohio R/C Off-road track. The weather was awesome and the track was in great condition to start qualifying.
Qualifying could not have went any better in the 3 classes that I ran.
In 4wd 1:10 Buggy I was able to TQ 2 of 3 rounds getting the overall TQ for the main. In Pro4 and E-Buggy I was able to TQ all 3 rounds of each class to start first on the grid going into the mains.
4wd 1:10 buggy was a blast in the mains and my TLR 22-4 on M3 HoleShot tires was hooked up the entire main. I was able to lead wire to wire, holding off TLR teammate Scott Heckert’s hard charge in the beginning for the overall win.
In Pro4, my TLR SCTE 2.0 was on rails on M3 HoleShots. I was able to get out to an early lead and lead wire to wire for the win.
The E-Buggy main went much the same as the others. I had some pressure in the beginning, but I was able to lay down consistent fast laps with my TLR 8ight-e 3.0 on X3 HoleShots to secure the win.
Overall the day could not have gone any better! I had a blast hanging out with friends, and helping support a GREAT cause.
Thank you to TLR/Horizon Hobby, Pro-Line Racing, MIP and Glacier Lipos for all the help and support!
Now time to get ready for the Monsters of the Midwest race this weekend at The Ohio R/C Factory.
