In the latest installment of vehicles, Traxxas has released the new Telluride 4×4 off road trail machine based of the award winning Stampede 4×4 Platform.  This vehicle has quickly caught the RC and Crawler Community by Storm. Over a series of articles, we will show you how to upgrade and improve the performance as well as the looks of your Telluride with all of our cool Rock Crawling Performance Parts Accessories Pro-Line has to offer.

With any stock Truck, the biggest improvement you can make is a set of wheels and tires. The Telluride is no exception so I reached for a set of our new 10103-00 Interco TSL SX Super Swamper SC 2.2” / 3.0” Tires and mounted them up to a set of our 2746-03 F-11 2.2”/3.0” Red/Black Bead-Loc Wheels. These will add a more realistic off road look to the vehicle and greatly improve the traction capabilities of the vehicle.

For this installment, we are going to keep the Stock body but we can still add some more realistic details. I started by adding a set of our 6089-00 Ridge-Line Bumpers Set (Wide) and hard mounting them directly to the body.  You will have to trim the upper hoop from the stock Bumper for clearance purposes but the end result is more than worth it.

Next I added our 6085-00 Performance Off-Road Crawler / Desert Truck Light bar Kit and the smaller 6046-00 Scale Accessory Roof Rack.  On the light bar, I went with the smaller 4 light version to fit the stock narrow body and then mounted the two additional lights to the Front bumper.

To finish it off, I added some of our scale accessories. I’m keeping it simple for Part 1 using the 6045-00 Assortment #2 and Parts of 6040-00 Assortment #1 for this part of the build.
