Have you every raced an rc track and just loved the atmosphere, the people, the food!!!! Only to have the track close down 🙁
For me it is the Snakepit Raceway in Maplesville , Alabama. We were so glad to see this awesome track reborn with great racing and competition this past weekend.They had about 55 entries for the grand opening and it was obvious that people were going to have fun!
There was a battle brewing early for the top 3 spots in pro nitro buggy between myself, Blake Boggs, and Michael Martin. We could only run 2 qualifiers due to weather so every second would count. In the first qualifier I decided to run Tazer M3 tires and they were dialed. So dialed in fact that I left them on for the 2nd round. After qualifying was done I managed to barely eek out Michael Martin for the 2nd position.
In the Main, the local fast guy Blake Boggs checked out and myself and Michael had a great battle for the 2nd and 3rd spots.. with a fresh set of M4 Tazers I was able to just barely stay ahead of Michael and finished 2nd on the podium.
