Last weekend marked the first round of the Mexican Off Road Nationals at the spectacular track of Colima. Over 100 cars gathered from across Mexico from places such as Chihuahua, Colima, Celaya and many more.
Plutacro Lizardi from La Paz, dominated the buggy category with his MBX7 taking the win by one lap. In the truggy class and after starting from the back of the pack due to electronic issues the day before, Herrero reached the A main where he started from third on the gird. In the last 10 minutes of the race, the battle for the top spots of the podium was fierce. That being said, Herrero managed to finish in 3rd place just behind Alpha team driver Felipe Martinez and Luis Ramirez.
