Pro-Line driver Marlowe Bright takes TQ at The Pit RC Supercross!

This past weekend I traveled off to The Pit RC Supercross in Lugoff, SC, with the temps in the mid 20’s in the morning and low 40’s during the day everyone was trying to stay warm.

In the E-Buggy class I was able to secure the TQ spot by winning all qualifiers, but when the main came around it, was a different story. The format was only running one 10 minute main.

I was able to have a nice clean start from the TQ spot and lead the race up till the 8 minute mark when I had to work my way through lap traffic once again with a 10 second lead.  The traffic ended up being difficult and caused 3 incidents that ultimately ended up having me fall back to the 3rd spot and with such a little amount of time left I couldn’t make up the lost time so I finished 3rd.  For the qualifiers and the main I ran M4 Tazers on my Losi 8IGHT 3.0 E and they were dialed on the cold slick track.

In the Pro Buggy class I would end up qualifying 7th due to inconsistent driving.  Once again I choose to run M4 Tazers for the qualifiers and the 20 minute main.  I had a great start and battle for 2nd for over 10 minutes, one mistake dropped me back to 3rd and that’s where I would run all the way up to the very last corner headed onto the straight away to the finish line.  I tried to protect the inside line from a fast charging 4th place and just cut the corner to close which ended up in a mistake and me finishing 4th after a close fast paced race.

The Pro-Line M4 Tazers kept my Losi 8IGHT 3.0 buggy glued to the track all day, I couldn’t of asked for anything more.

This was also my first race of the year and my first race officially being part of the TLR Race Team.  Thanks again to Pro-Line Racing for giving me the tires that work in all conditions and keeping me running up front.  Hopefully the weather starts to warm up here in the Southeast and we can get some more outdoor racing in.
