The 2013 PRO-LINE Challenge was the second year running of the Series event. 2012 saw 3 clubs join the series and in 2013 we had 5 clubs in total. We are very proud to have brought all clubs in NSW together and working to make the R/C Hobby fun and exciting for everyone competing.
Illawarra, a club that had been around for many years had folded and left to weather away for 3 years. A small group of racers bonded together and rebuilt the club and track to a great little club. Would you believe their first official meeting was the PRO-LINE Challenge, but they did a AWESOME Job for round 1 of the series.

Round 2 was held at the Maitland track, freshly groomed and ready for the Pro-line Challenge and the NSW State Titles within months of each other. A new Drivers stand has really set off this club with one of the best surfaces around, makes for close racing.

Round 3 was held at the ACT Club in Canberra, 3 hours south of Sydney. Similar layout to the 2012 Nationals, the ACT track has one of the best layouts in Australia, along with its pure clay surface, its draws many racers even with the extra travel time.

The last round was held at the new entry to the Series, Manning Valley. 3-4 hours North of Sydney it was hard for everyone to travel the longer distance, but for those who did, they loved it. With just over 60 Entries nearly half the field traveled for the event. A small club that has been around for 3 years, with approx 30 members held its first ever “Big Event” and man was it a success for them. The locals loved having the fast guys come up and let me tell you the locals are pretty fast too.
