This past weekend I attended the IERC Gunsmoke Classic and competed in the 2 wheel Modified Buggy class as well as the 2wd Modified Short Course class. In 2wd buggy the competition was very close, I managed to qualify into the B main out of a D main using the rocket round format, after a mistake that sent me to the back of the pack on the first lap I was not able to recover to gain a bump position so had to settle for a b main finish. In the 2wd SC class I was able to qualify 2nd overall and in the triple a mains I managed a 3rd in A1, took the win in A2, and a 3rd in A3 which put me in a tie for 2nd, I lost the tie breaker and would end up on the podium in the 3rd place overall. In 2wd Buggy I was running MC compound Suburbs front and rear ground into slicks with Pro-Line molded inserts front and rear.
