On October 12, 2013 LRH Hobbies in Anaheim, CA had a Grand Opening for there new facility. It was a bad start for me at first but everything came together thru out the event. During practice this driver T-Bone me and my XB9e went flying in the air straight for a concrete wall. Breaking my shock pivot ball. Not having a spare, I was a little disappointed, but out of the blue the track owners assistant came thru for me. So I was able to get the XB9e rolling again. The XB4 is looking good and what do you know! My sensor wire goes out during my warm up laps, then goes out on me in the main. So my 1st Qualifier was shot 🙁 So two bad things happen to me in a row but I was still hanging in there. I was able to make it to both my qualifiers with my XB9e.I started second in the A-Main and finished 2nd in the A-main. I qualified 2nd in the A-Main with my XB4 and finished 3rd in the A-main. In my 4WD A-Main it could have been better but I made some mistakes and got nerves for what ever reason and lost focus. I wasn’t happy with this run at all. In the 1/8 buggy A-Main I made one mistake and the a turn marshal fell down right in front of my buggy which held me up. I was a little concern cause he fell down pretty hard but I realized I’m in a race. So I had to try and get back in the race. Which turned in to a three minute battle for second. So with everything that went bad I was still able to get the job done.
