The 2013 Gas Champs went down this past weekend at Thunder Alley RC Raceway in Beaumont CA. With perfect weather, another awesome layout by Levi Jackson of SIK track designs and Jimmy Babcock running a flawless program it turned out to be a great event with lots of action filled racing!

The Gas Champs runs a heads up racing format which helps make this event unique as well as challenging and with only 1 heat of practice on Saturday morning it makes it an even challenge for everyone to learn the layout. You also run 3 heats of qualifying as well as double A mains for nitro and triple A mains for electric so you get your moneys worth in run time. Along with the extended track time all entries received a set of M3 Pro-Line Hole Shot tires for Buggy and M3 Blockade tires for Truggy.
