Kris Norlock @ THE Series 2013 Round 1

This past weekend I attended round one of THE Series presented by Pro-Line held at Dirt Burner Racing in Livonia, Michigan. THE Series is a 6 race electric series that travels across Michigan and Indiana consisting of both indoor and outdoor off-road events. Friday is open practice and Saturday is 3 qualifiers and mains.

There were 218 entries making up 25 heats. 38 of which were in the Mod SC class. After 3 rounds of qualifying using points, I was sitting 3rd on the grid with a 2, 3, and 3. My Pro-Line Pro-2 was dialed in all day on MC ION‘s. As the main started, the top 3 got a clean start and pulled away from a pile up. After some close racing I was able to move up to 2nd with a couple laps to go and finish the main out in that position.
