This was my 4th year attending Motorama and it was another fantastic event. I ran 17.5 2wd SC and 17.5 Short Course Buggy. The tires of choice were the Pro-Line IONs. The Motorama crew was able to build the track a day and half earler this year and that lead to a much better race surface. M4 compound IONs were the hot ticket and wear was very minimal. I was able to run the same set of M4 ION’s during Fridays practice, as well as the quals Saturday, and even during the mains on Sunday.

With my SC10b in the Short Course Buggy class, I was able to qualify 2nd and finish in the same position. With my FT SC10 in the 2wd SC class, I qualified 4th overall. I finished 6th after being sent to the back of the pack with a early race spin out but I charged hard and was able to make back 5 spots by the finish.

For anyone on the east coast, this is a must attend event. Look for me there next year.
