Blais Racing, TNS Round 1 & 2 Race Report
Top Notch Series Round 1

The new ‘Top Notch Series’ Rounds 1 & 2 are in the books. Round 1 of the Top Notch Series would go down at SDRC raceway with Chris Blais taking the Pro 4 main event win in his Pro-Line, Coyote Hobbies, Venom, Tekin Powered, BCE Chassis SCTE. Chris would also finish 6th in 1/8th Scale E-Buggy and 4th in Open 4×4 buggy with his Team Associated Buggy’s.
Nick Blais would take the TQ in PRO 4 and would finish 3rd after a long crash on the last lap that cost him the 2nd place position. Nick would also finish 4th in 1/8 E-Buggy with his Team Associated RC8.2E and 3rd in MOD 2wd SC with his Pro-Line Pro-2 Short Course Truck. Our cars were dialed with our Pro-Line bodies and ION tires.
Martin Blais would get a 4th place finish in Sportsman 4×4 SC & 5th in Sportsman Stock 2wd SC. Martin would also race his Team Associated 1/8 E-Buggy for the first time and finish in the top of the B-Main.

Top Notch Series Round 2

Coyote Hobbies Raceway
Round 2 of the Top Notch Series would go down at Coyote Hobbies in Victorville, CA. This would be Chris’ home track and the pressure was on. Chris would take the TQ in Pro 4, 4×4 Open Buggy and 2nd qualifier in 1/8 E-Buggy less than 1 second behind Lucas Sanford. Chris would have a great battle with Nick Blais in Pro 4 to take the win just 1 second over Nick. “It was a great battle.” Chris would also finish 3rd in 1/8 Scale E-Buggy and 2nd in 4×4 Open Buggy. Chris would have back to back races and had a hard time getting settled down after the intense 1/8 scale race.
Martin Blais would have a great battle in Sportsman 4×4 SC with local driver Israel Cortez and capture 2nd place with his BCE, Pro-Line, Tekin, Venom Powered 4×4 SC. Martin would also finish up 3rd in the 1/8 Scale B main and 4th place in Sportsman Stock SC A-main.
