Pro-Line Travels to Indiana for Round 5 of “The Series” at Stateline Raceway!

Stateline Raceway Track

Pro-Line’s Product Development duo of Gerardo and Matt traveled to Stateline Raceway on the border between Indiana and Michigan to attend Round 5 of the Pro-Line sponsored “The Series” race.  Pro-Line Factory driver Dakotah Phend made the couple hour trip down from Clarkston, Michigan to come race and provide a place for the Californians to pit…  Thanks Phend Family!  With the radar showing heavy thunderstorms in the area Friday and Saturday we were unsure if we would be able to race.  Luckily, the major storms missed the area and the race was on!  Stateline Raceway is a great facility with a huge Off-road track on one side of the Driver’s Stand and a Dirt Oval with a small inner Off-road track on the other side.  The guys behind the scene of “The Series” are a great group and Kris Norlock of Darkside Designs fame was the announcer keeping the race on track.  Each race on the calendar of “The Series” is a single day race with 3 Qualifiers and the Mains.  Gerardo and Matt signed up for the Mod SC class and brought along Pro-Line’s Pro-2 Performance Slash Conversion Trucks for some battle in the dirt.  After qualifying, we both made the A-Main against the stiff local competition and in the Main, Gerardo finished 7th and Matt took home a top 5.  We both ran M3 Holeshot SC 2.0 tires, Flo-tek bodies and all the Pro-Line Slash hop-ups.

Pro-Line’s Dakotah Phend dominated all the classes he entered.  In Pro-4, he ran M3 Holeshot SC 2.0 tires and in 1/8 E-Buggy Dakotah ran M3 Holeshot 2.0 tires.  Great job Dakotah!

We had a blast at this race and enjoyed meeting all the great people and racing at the awesome Stateline facility.  Special thanks to the Phend family for hanging out with us so much and letting us pit with you guys.  Also, thanks to the Myers family for the great hospitality providing such a great place to race!  Thanks to everyone involved in “The Series” and to Kris for the great program!  Check out the Gallery below for more pictures:
