While filtering through the 2012 ROAR Supernationals at West Coast RC, I spied a brand new tire in the Pro-Line booth…a tire so new, Pro-Line hasn’t released any info on it yet, or even labeled the sidewalls!  As of now, the Ion will be available in both SC truck and 1/8-scale buggy configurations.

This is the new Pro-Line “Ion” indoor tire, in their purple-dot clay compound.  The tread design looks ideal for hard pack, grippy indoor clay surfaces.  We’ll bring you more once we get more info from Pro-Line, but for now we are the only media source with any info on this new tread.  Stay tuned.
