This past weekend the JBRL Electric Series visited SDRC Raceway in San Diego for the first time and the Pro-Line team was out in full force. This huge indoor track with medium grip resulted in a very exciting day of racing action. Pro-Line tires were working great all day with a few guys from other teams switching to Pro-Line rubber to keep pace.
In the premier Mod Buggy class Pro-Line’s Cody Turner dominated the field of full Factory drivers taking the TQ and Win! Cody used Pro-Line Suburbs, Scrubs and a BullDog Body to win over the likes of Evans, Hartson, Truhe, Castellano, etc. Great job Cody “Tight” Turner!
Pro-2 was the same story in a different class with Cody laying the smack down on the field with Suburbs in the Rear, Square Fuzzies in the Front topped with a Pro-Line Chevy Body. What a great day for Cody! Congratulations are in order! Pro-Line’s Nick Blais also finished a solid 4th in Pro-2.
Pro-Line took home 1st and 2nd in Expert Stock Buggy with Wayne Wyrick taking the win and Chris Wesson (TQ) taking a close 2nd. Great job Wayne and Chris! The guys were running Suburbs and Scrubs to put the power down for the awesome 1-2 finish. Congrats guys!
Pro-4 turned out to be a great battle between 3 drivers, which has been going on for several JBRL Rounds. Pro-Line’s Chris Blais and Nick Blais had their trucks dialed in and ready A-Main combat against TLR’s Ryan Dunford. After an intense race, Ryan squeaked out the win with Chris less than a second behind. Nick would round out the podium for a Pro-Line 2nd and 3rd in Pro-4! Great job guys! Chris Blais would also finish 5th in 4wd buggy!
Electric 1/8th Buggy is always exciting to watch go around tight indoor tracks at crazy speeds. After an intense 10 minute main, Pro-Line’s Nick Blais was able to take home a solid 3rd place finish in this hotly contested A-Main. Another awesome weekend for the Blais Brothers!
Congratulations to the whole Pro-Line team for another awesome showing at JBRL! See you at the next one…
