Blais Racing, 5 Wins at Coyote Hobbies/ TLR Mid-Summer Shootout

Coyote Hobbies Raceway/ TLR Mid-Summer Shootout

The Coyote Hobbies Mid Summer Shootout would be a great one for the Blais Racing Family taking five wins home for the weekend. Martin Blais would start off qualifying 3rd in Sportsman Stock SC and was able to come up and take the win in the A Main. Martin would also qualify and finish 3rd place in the Sportsman Mod SC, and take 2nd place in Sportsman 4×4 SC A Main.

Coyote Hobbies/Pro-Line/Venom-sponsored driver Chris Blais would be racing 4 classes this weekend. Pro Stock Buggy, Pro Mod Buggy, Pro 4×4 SC, & Pro 4×4 Buggy. In the Pro Stock buggy race, Chris would qualify 2nd behind Shawn Blackwell and it would stay that way for the entire race. Both drivers drove a near flawless race and Chris would finish about 6 seconds behind Blackwell.

It was a different story in the Pro Mod Buggy race where Chris would take the TQ and the win over Shawn Blackwell by 4 seconds. Chris had a flawless race with his Associated B4.1 buggy where the others weren’t so lucky.

The Pro 4 race would be the closest racing of the night with the Pro-Line/Venom driver Nick Blais taking the TQ, Chris Blais 2nd qualifier and Team Losi’s Ryan Dunford 3rd. In the main, Chris would take the lead from Nick on the first lap with a two-lap battle before getting some breathing room. Nick and Ryan battled it out for half the race. In the end it was Chris Blais taking the win by 3 seconds over Ryan Dunford and 7 seconds over Nick Blais. “Thanks to my awesome Coyote Hobbies/ Pro-Line/ Venom sponsored Losi SCTE for helping me get the win.”

Pro 4 Podium, Chris Blais 1st, TLR’s Ryan Dunford 2nd, Nick Blais 3rd

All night in the Pro 4×4 buggy race, Coyote Hobbies sponsored Drivers Chris Blais and Jeff Eide would battle it out. Chris would take the TQ with his Team Associated B44.1 and Jeff 2nd. In the main event it was on and Chris would take the win a mere 1.5 seconds ahead of Jeff after a mistake on the last couple of laps.

Blais Racing/ Pro-Line/ Venom driver Nick Blais would have a steller run in the Pro Mod SC race qualifying 2nd and taking the win by 4.5 seconds over Team Losi’s John Shultz. Nick Blais would also finish 3rd in Pro 4×4 SC behind Chris Blais and Team Losi’s Ryan Dunford.
