Hey there all you Axial EXO Terra Buggy Fans, Pro-Line Racing has some cool upgrades for your buggy I wanted the share with you! Here is my Axial EXO Terra buggy which I equipped with just a few of our many options for the awesome rig.
I wanted to go with more a Baja desert racer look so I opted to install our #6063-01 PowerStroke SC shocks on all 4 corners for that extra ground clearance. I use the #6063-05 Powerstroke Universal hardware kit to get them mounted up.
On the upper rears, remember not to over tighten the upper shock bolt as it should just be slightly snug, this will help avoid any binding issues. For the Rear Upper Shock Mounting I trimmed the shoulder from the shock mounts that come in the #6063-05 Universal hardware kit and used an o-ring for a spacer to allow for a little extra movement.
For wheels and tires, I mounted a set of our 1182-01 Badlands SC tires to a set of our 2731-01 Renegade Bead Lock wheels. These bolt right up without any modifications or issues and they give it a super aggressive look that unleashes the pure performance EXO Terra Buggy
Since this buggy has some scale appearance to it, I decided to finish it off with some of our scale crawler accessories. I used the battery and Power inverter from our #6074-00 Assortment #6 and the fire extinguisher from our #6075-00 Scale Assortment #7. The crawler accessories box insert from our #6040-00 Scale Assortment #1, and the Jack and Pry Bar from our #6045-00 Assortment #2. I shortened the Jack to its 48” in 1:1 scale Brother (4.8” in 1:10 scale) to keep more with the theme. For my wiring and battery cable extensions, I picked up some 0.03” (1mm) Elastic Cord found in the craft / jewely section of most hobby / craft type stores.
The EXO Terra Buggy is a blast to build and run and it beckons to be detailed out just like its Axial Racing Scale counter parts. Be sure to check out all of these cool accessories For Your EXO Terra Buggy that we here at Pro-Line Racing have to offer.
