The 2nd-4th of March I attended the 2012 RC Pro Series South Round 1 in Pearcy, Arkansas at Wolfpack Rc. The place is a great facility, and had a great layout.
Practice (Friday) I ran my same old setup, it was working so we didn’t change it. In practice I ran M3 Hole Shots in both Truck, Short Course, Electric Buggy, and Buggy and they were hooked up! But in the Electric buggy we had one major problem… THE BATTERY! But we did have a back up battery.
Luckily we got it out of the car when it was smoldering!
Qualifying (Saturday) In qualifying I ran the M3 Hole shots for both cars since in practice I really liked them and they were hooking up great! During qualifying we really didn’t have any problems other than we had 1 or 2 bad runs in all classes.
Mains(Sunday)In the Mains I decided to continue running the M3 Hole Shots since they were just so great on this track. In open arena truck I Qualified 1st in the B main and finished 8th(Broke Tie rod). In open buggy I qualified 7th in the C main and bumped from that finishing 8th in the B main(Broke Shock). In electric buggy I qualified 2 in the C main, bumped and finished 8th in the B main. Finally the car of the day, the Short Course truck. I qualified 2nd in the B main and led the whole race! But on the last lap I was passing a lap car when he hit me resulting me in breaking my rear hub:(, I ended up finishing 3rd.
Comments: At the end of the weekend I thought I did kinda well considering I finished in all B mains, while running 4 cars!
Thanks
