Dakotah Phend wins at Round 1 of the Michigan State Championship Series

On Saturday February 4th, the first round of the brand new Michigan State Championship Series was held at AMS Raceway in Grand Blanc, MI. AMS Raceway features an indoor track that is 72’x110′ and always provides great layouts for great racing.

With a surprising 141 entries in 7 classes, it was a long but very successful day of racing that lasted all day. At the end of the day, TLR/Pro-Line Driver Dakotah Phend walked away with the win in the premier Nitro Buggy class, with AMS Raceway’s owner Mike Sontag in second and Tony Carnes of M2C Racing rounding off the podium in 3rd. Dakotah used Pro-Line M4 Recoils in Buggy to take the win.
