West Coast RC Raceway
November 5th the entire Blais family got together to head to West Coast RC Raceway. This is one of my favorite tracks I’ve been to. I had a great run in my 4wd Losi SCTE taking 2nd qualifier and 2nd in the main. I made a few mistakes that surely cost me the win. This is only the 2nd time racing this truck and I’m still getting used to it. It was a fun night of racing for everyone with 19 races for the evening. We finished around 2:00 AM, it was a long evening but well worth the drive.
Coyote Hobbies Raceway
November 26th was my first time racing my new Team Associated 4.1 buggy. I was able to get some practice in on Tuesday with my new buggy but was definately not ready to go racing. I got a lot of practice in just before the race and was feeling good. I took the TQ in the stock buggy class at my first race, and ended up 3rd in the 15 min buggy main event and felt great all night. Just some more fine tuning and I will have the buggy dialed. I also raced my Losi SCTE and was able to TQ and the Main event win by 4 laps.
On my buggy I used Pro-Line Scrubs MC tires which worked great. On my 4×4 SC I used Pro-Line M3 Suburbs on the front and Pro-Line MC Suburbs on the rear for the freshly watered track. Race Results
