This past weekend (November 19th) was the 2011 Kyosho Fall Classic, held at Revelation Raceway in Ontario California. This year’s event attracted many competitive Pro-Line drivers such as; Current ROAR 1:8 Buggy National Champion Ryan Cavalieri, Ty Tessmann, Richard Saxton, and Dylan Rodriguez, were all in attendance.
In the 1:8 Pro Truggy Class Ryan Cavalieri went into the main with a TQ in both rounds 1 and 2 to take the overall TQ for the class. Pro-Line driver Dylan Rodriguez started 2nd and Cody King 3rd.
In the 20-Minute A-Main Cavalieri broke away from the field after the first couple laps and never looked back. At the halfway point Cavalieri had stretched his lead to over half a lap on second. As the checkered flag waived, Cavalieri crossed the finish line first to take home the Win! Dylan Rodriguez and Jessie Robinson had a great battle for the 2nd position with Rodriguez edging out Robinson. Dylan used Holeshot M3 tires, Velocity Dish wheels, HD wing and BullDog Body.

With 2 laps to go, Cavalieri made his way right up behind King and then made a pass for the lead halfway through the lap and then King passed Cavalieri a few corners later. With King leading and Cavalieri in 2nd starting their last lap, the Championship was down to this. With 3 corners from the finish, King made a slight mistake and Cavalieri got around him for the win.

Buggy was a little rocky to start but was able to I put together 25 minutes of good solid running. Good pits from my dad and Richard Saxton gave me an edge and I managed to squeak by right at the end. I ran the new M4 Tazer Tires for qualifying and the mains. I enjoyed some good racing with Cody.”
