Pro-Line Team driver Billy Easton TQ’ed and won the Summer Novarossi Challenge this past weekend (Oct 1st & 2nd). The race was held at the Ospy Tram track in Italy.
Billy stated, “In a track condition where its rough, dusty, slick and pot holes are present, the bowfighter combination provided an excellent source of traction ,steering and over all lap speed. It was the perfect combination for the Italian track..”
Having already secured TQ on Saturday, Billy Easton headed into the finals confident despite the tough competition from European Champion Robert Batlle and Italian stars Perin & Mirko Bianchi. The final saw Easton open a 5sec gap to begin with, Batlle kept up and battled fairly with Easton, however over the course of the 45min final, Easton stretched out a laps lead and it finished with Easton taking the win, Batlle 2nd just infront of Riccardo Perin & 2nd place qualifier Mirko Bianchi in 4th. Billy used the popular BowFighter Set up with Pro-Line Bow-Tie in M3 for the Rear and the Crime Fighter M3 in the Front combined with Velocity wheels.
Great work Billy!
