Pro-Line Team Driver Peter Tozser used the new Blockade Buggy tires and Revolver 2.0 VTR Truck tires for the Alberta RC Pro Series race and sent us this report about what he thought about the new tires.
“Thanks to Tim Clark and Gord Tessmann for getting me hooked up with the new Pro-Line Blockade buggy tires and the Revolver 2.0 truck tires in time for the 2nd leg of the Alberta RC Pro Series at Medicine Hat, AB.
Both of the new tires have a slightly rounder carcass, which makes them more forgiving in the rough sections. These tires are truly universal, and work well in both dusty areas of the track and on the clean blue groove.
The Blockade buggy tires were on-pace with the Holeshots over a qualifying run. They are more forgiving to drive which allows you to push them a little more, and they last a very long time. I used one set of M3’s over 2 rounds of qualifying, ran them in the 30 minute A-main, and they look like they could still run another event like that.
The Revolver 2.0 truck tires are much more responsive than the original Revolver truck tires. They were also much easier to drive than the Holeshots, especially in the dusty areas. I posted my best qualifying run on these and then ran them again in the 30 minute A-main. Finishing 2nd in Expert Truggy behind Ty ‘the cyborg’ Tessman, my tires showed barely any wear.”
Thank you Pete for the report and for your support! Keep up the great work!
