The USGP round of the FIM World Motocross Championship was held this weekend less than hour away from Pro-Line headquarters at Glen Helen. This series features some of the best riders in the world and is the only round on U.S. soil, making it a must see event for SoCal racing fans.
The day started out cold and rainy but as soon as the racing started, the sun came out leaving the track in perfect condition. Glen Helen is a true MX track because it features huge elevation changes, around 3 minute lap times and huge jumps.
In the premier MX1 class, Clement Desalle dominated by winning both motos. The MX2 class saw Ken Roczen, who just finished a successful SX Lites season, take the overall win with two first place finishes. A special shout out goes to Zachary Osbourne for being the top U.S. rider!
