Last weekend (Apr. 1-3, 2011) another round from competitive CARTT Championships was held at Fuencarral track.
After qualifications, Pro-Line driver Alberto Garcia was TQ followed by Juan Manuel Guillen and Roberto G. Rodero.
The main final would be a true show: In the first minutes Alberto Garcia was leader, followed closely by Guillen, Rodero and Dani Pariente. With 20 minutes to go, a marshall stopped Garcia’s engine. The new leader was Juan Manuel Guillen, with a gap no more than 5 seconds over Roberto G. Rodero and Dani Pariente.
The three drivers started to change the leadership and nobody was able to get a gap from the other. Otherwise, Alberto Garcia came back to the race in 4th position after losing more than 25seconds.
10 minutes to go: The three drivers continued racing very close and Alberto Garcia was reducing the gap.
3 minutes to go: Alberto Garcia is over the leaders and after three more laps, he is the new leader. The last lap is amazing, with Daniel Pariente and Alberto Garcia taking the leadership.
Finally Alberto Garcia won the race, followed by Daniel Pariente, JuanManuel Guillen and Roberto G. Rodero.
