Pro-Line driver Ty Tessmann won the 1:8 Truck class in a come from behind charge at the ROAR National Warm-Up Race this weekend!

Thunder Alley is the host of the 1:8 ROAR Fuel Nationals and had a Warm-Up race this last weekend (Apr 1-3, 2011). A handful of top drivers, such as Adam Drake, Jared Tebo, Ty Tessmann, Ryan Maifield and others ascended to Beaumont, CA to get some run time in just before SilverState. Ty and Jared Tebo had a great battle Sunday.

It was soon after Ty placed 2nd in an hour long 1:8 buggy main that he lined up for the 30 minute truck main. A couple early bobbles by Ty gave pole sitter Jared Tebo a healthy lead but Ty closed the gap using the Hole Shot tires with Closed Cell inserts and BullDog body as the race wore on. Ty eventually got by Jared and pulled away for the win. Great work Ty!
