Today was a “Get it Done” day at the Worlds. Team Pro-Line arrived to a very rough and torn up track with drivers who needed to secure the direct tickets to the semis. It started out well for Cavalieri, Reno and Wheeler who all had clean runs. Cav stuck with his Caliber / Revolver combo in M3 and Reno went for Bow Fighter in M2 to get a feel for his semi set up. Wheeler opted for M2 Hole Shots.
Round 6 had drivers facing a pot hole laden circuit. Reno had a rough run, testing sections for speed since he had already secured the semi. Cav had another smooth run on the same tire combo from round one. Today’s highlight has been seeing both Wheeler and Ty have stellar runs on there M2 Snipers.
With qualifying complete, Pro-Line has four drivers going straight to semis. Our next challenge will be to advance as many drivers as possible from the 1/8th’s and 1/4’s to join them.
The big question now is what will be done to the track before mains since rules allow grooming after qualifying is complete.
Our experience so far says, it could be interesting.
