This past weekend Ty Tessmann competed in round #1 of the Alberta RC Pro Series held in Grande Prairie, Alberta. He was able to top qualify in both expert buggy and expert truggy. He states that “…all my equipment ran flawlessly and I was able to win both classes.”
For setup, Ty provided the following information:
In the first buggy qualifier I used M4 Hole Shot with the Closed Cell inserts, the track started to break up really badly so in buggy I switched to M3 calibers with Molded inserts for the rest of the 4 qualifiers and used the same set of tires for all 4. In truggy I used M3 VTR Hole Shot with Molded inserts for qualifing. Sunday morning it rained which helped the track groove up, I used M3 Hole Shot with Molded inserts in both buggy and truggy mains. In addition to the tires, BullDog bodies were used in both classes. I also used the new V2 Split Six wheels on my buggy.
