My name is Todd Mattson, I am the President and owner of Pro-Line and this is my first blog, so go easy on me. We just got back from Chicago and the iHobby Trade Show, this is my 18th year at this show and Pro-Line’s 23rd.
After a 4am wake up call and a 6am flight out of California, we arrived in Chicago on Wednesday afternoon and set up our booth by 7pm. Scott Hughes led the way this year with a new trade show booth design and developed the concept with Daniel Adams back at the office over the last month. The booth went together on-site flawlessly and looked and worked a few hundred times better then our old booth from last year.
Jessica Kelishes executed and coordinated all of our pre-show efforts and all the details to make it happen. Everything from the displayed items, labels, setup tools, meeting schedules, badges, basically all that stuff that goes into making a great show including the shirts on our backs.
Check out Pro-Line’s scaler accessories on the outside of his Ambush and then Zack used our CGR frame for an inside the body roll cage. Well done!
Harmony, Jessica, Scott and I represented the company for Thursday and Friday for the first two days with dealers and distributors. Overall we had a great show, great dealers, good times with a number of our key distributors and a strong response from our new releases.
Harmony, Jessica, Scott, Eric and Brian covered the Consumer days on Saturday and Sunday where they gave away two Slashes outfitted with all the Pro-Line goods to make a killer Baja Bug. Almost 20,000 people went through the show in those last two days according to the show organizers.
Excellent Show, great team and work to make it all happen!
