Memorial Day race at G’s R/C Raceway 05/24/14
Classes ran: E-Truggy and 4×4 sct
Race setup:
There were three rounds of heats with double A-mains
E truggy: (First ever race)
I TQ’ed the first round and held it through all three and won both if my mains! For the first time running it, it was awesome! The setup was great! I had no problem getting the traction I needed with my M3 HoleShot 2.0’s .
Getting my 6300 venom 4s soon too!!!!!
4×4 sct:
This was probably the worst luck I ever had within my racing career as the first round my truck shut off and I was clueless as to what was happening. So I went back out for the second and my negative battery wire coming off my ESC came unsoldered.. After I thought I had everything solved I went back out again for the third round and my battery came unplugged …. so then I installed a fan and took heat shrink off some of my wires and missed the a1 and went back out for the a2 and ended up placing 1st! BUT, my transponder was not picking up halfway through the race …. so overall of got 4th … In the a2 I had M3 Blockades on and they had traction from the beginning to the end and the track dried out and my 8000 mah 20 c battery in for the power!
Overall:
I had awesome luck with E-truggy but horrible luck with 4×4 but this race was for practice at the track as it is the next round of the ROAR Region 2 Outdoor Series … so it was a win/lose….
